The Lovu guide
A conversation, in a familiar voice
You might begin with a memory, share something from your day or simply say hello. An avatar offers a new conversation shaped by familiar stories and a recreated voice. You choose the pace and can end the call whenever you wish.

Begin with something comfortable
There is no perfect first question. A favorite place or family tradition can be a gentle start. Depending on your access and setup, you can connect by voice or video, and some calls include two avatars.

The reply is created for this moment
Lovu processes what you say, uses available stories and conversation context, and creates a spoken reply. It is an AI representation, not the person returning to speak. It can get facts wrong; important details should be checked against original sources.

A thread you can return to
When memory is enabled, earlier conversations can help later calls feel more continuous. That continuity comes from your conversations with the avatar, not new experiences lived by the original person.

Keep a call only if you choose to record
With recording on, you can download the call and share a temporary link that expires after seven days. With recording off, there is no call video or share link. Remember that anyone with a link can save a copy.
Notice how the experience feels
A familiar voice may be comforting, surprising or emotionally difficult. You can take a break. Lovu is not a substitute for the people supporting you or for professional care, and there is no expectation to keep calling.
